Sydney SIGGRAPH Submission 'Falling Between Worlds'

“Dear journal, why do I fall deeper into my craft, only to land afloat on a platform of never ending uncertainty? But I guess…this is just life.”

This piece is a semi-experimental motion art that portrays my depiction of falling between worlds. I interpret this concept as falling between the various stages of my life, emotion and passions. I have always had faith in art. However, in recent times, I frequently find myself feeling helpless and anxious about the future, especially in navigating my career life. questions such as, “is my passion merely a hobby? When can I finally make a living out of it? Why have others seem to already be figuring it out? Are people judging me? Will I peak at university? are my achievements only good here? Can I contribute to the goodness of society? Can I make my parents proud?”. I often feel trapped, but I do let these worries run wild in my mind. However, I do try my best to hold them in and say that I will eventually figure it out.
